The Knot is a stunning log cabin in North Wales for you all to share time together – inside or outside – and watch nature unfold around you.

This generously spaced luxury cabin stands in a quiet yet central position at the heart of Penvale Lodges, with sweeping views up the valley. Like its siblings, it has an interior worthy of a magazine, exclusively created by our designer, Clair Brereton, and featuring beautiful artwork by local artist, Elizabeth MacDonald.

Inside and Outside

One-storey doesn’t mean less space. In fact, The Knot feels bright and open at all times, the living and dining space flooded with light thanks to its cathedral-style windows. Cosy up with a book on the lovely velvet sofas next to the fire, cook your family a feast in the contemporary kitchen, then swap stories and memories around the dining table made for 4.

There are two double bedrooms facing one another, with supremely snug beds. Each has a double-fitted wardrobe for all your clothes, as well as fresh cotton sheets and clean towels for you all to use.

The large bathroom has a hot rainfall shower for easing aching legs after a walk in the Welsh mountains or a quick morning refresh.

Outside there’s a vast slightly-raised wraparound deck with glass balustrade, giving you wonderful views over our green lawns and peaceful lakes during the day. At night, you get a front-row view of the Milky Way from the 4-seater hot tub.
